DESCRIPTION:2018 Italy Fashion and Food Retreat\nAs of May 2015\, we still have room in this retreat! Contact us for more info! \nWe are combining Fashion and Food for our 2018 Italy retreat. \nThe dates will be from June 14th 2018 (arrival day with dinner in evening)\, through the morning June 23rd. It will be a great mixture of fashion\, food and creativity. \nAs many of you know\, Susan has been going to Verona Italy for the past 12\nyears\, and has established a wonderful network of friends and businesses\nrelated to fashion and food.\nHow would you like… \nTo learn how to make pasta from Nonna\, the grandmother of the family who\nowns a knitting mill we visit? \nTravel to Milan to walk the Fashion District and each lunch at the Armani\nCafé? \nTake a cooking class from the owner of a restaurant in the Lugana wine\nregion\, and then after eating the lunch on his outdoor patio\, learn create a\nfelted scarf under the guidance of a world-renown felter? \nVisit a weaving establishment in Venice\, where they still weave on\ntraditional Jacquard looms and you can watch the boats go by on the Grand\nCanal. \nVisit local fabric and yarn stores\, and meet local Artisans. \nSit on Roman stones in an arena\, from 4th century AD\, as you watch the\nworld-famous opera production of Carmen. \nThis\, and so much more… in our 2018 Food and Fashion Retreat in Italy. \nThe maximum group size will be seven people\, so reserve your spot soon. A deposit of $500 is required to hold your place. \nWe hold a group of apartments in a Medieval building\, in the center core\nof Verona\, and we must release those not needed by the end of this week.\nAlthough we can still take participants after this week\, housing will become\nscattered around the city after we release the apartments\, so if you are\ninterested and want the convenience of staying with the group in a central\nlocation\, please contact us by Friday\, March 2nd\, 2018.
