Digital Fabric Design Workshop

Explore Lyon, France, followed by a hands-on workshop designing digital fabrics in the form of engineered print garments from Garment Designer patterns, and allover Textile Prints for yardage.

We are pleased to have a partnership with Label Graine, a textile firm outside of Lyon, France. This company digitally prints fabrics and has redesigned a portion of their space to suit workshops for designers, students, or others who want to involve digital printing in their creative life.

Our Digital Fabric Design retreat will combine four days exploring Lyon with workshop time both in Lyon and at Valsonne. After 4 days of exploring Lyon, (culinary capital of France and historic silk center of Europe) we will spend 5 days at Label Graine developing original fabric designs for an engineered garment using a Garment Designer PDF pattern as well as overall print designs for yardage. You will leave with a garment and fabric printed as per your design.

We realize this is just around the corner, but we decided to attempt this workshop as our audience has been asking and Label Graine is delighted to proceed.
