You will learn how to use a reference garment which will aid you in determining how much ease you like in your T-shirts as well as the typical neck widths/depths and armhole depth\, etc. \nYou will see the basic process of drafting the pattern in Garment Designer\, how to print out the pattern\, join the pattern pieces and then cut out and sew the garment. The shapes are generally simple and thus become great candidates for design ideas. \nIn this class\, we will do a little globe-trotting without leaving the comfort of our homes as we explore several garments which may be excellent starting points for a personal design. \nWhether you knit\, sew\, crochet\, or weave\, these traditional shapes can be used. We will build mini-samples using graph paper and a paper-doll template.
