If fitting pants is your challenge; this webinar will help you learn how to measure your favorite pants, and your body to assist you in creating a better pattern and pants that fit. Then, learn how to use the right sequence in Garment Designer to build the pattern you need. Learn what pattern changes address different fit problems in pants. Let’s take some of the mystery out of the process, and get you closer to your perfect pant pattern.

Webinars are 60 to 70 minute classes. They include:

  • A handout prior to the lecture
  • The online class with a full lecture and demonstration.
  • The ability to ask questions and get answers (Live webinar only)
  • A PDF copy of the PowerPoint after the class (for personal use only)
  • The ability to view a recording of the webinar for 72 hours after the webinar

A little knowledge up front goes a long way to fit and great looking clothing. In this lecture/demonstration, you will learn how to take meaningful and accurate body measurements. Then, we will take it one step further to discuss which parts of a pattern (whether knit or sewn) are impacted by proper and improper measurements. You will gain a greater understanding of why some patterns work and others don’t, and you can apply your knowledge to correct patterns, based on your measurements before you even cut the fabric or cast on stitches.
